This movement challenge is a different approach to the traditional sweat challenges. Let's challenge the narrative in our industry around what is accessible, healthy, and what feels strong in our skin. While at the same time ending violence against women.

From July - September, Sarah and Kits Beach Coffee will be collaborating with local wellness leaders to offer classes by donation at the cafe, to keep active, connect with your community promote self-care and wellness, and BWSS and support survivors from all walks of life.

The Move With Me Challenge is curated by Sarah Jamieson, trauma-informed wellness practitioner and Somatics Educator. Sarah is s seasoned Corrective-Strength and Conditioning Coach, and has provided trauma-care across multiple disciplines. She has volunteered with BWSS for over 15 years.

THE MOVE WITH ME CHALLENGE PROGRAM
​
When you donate (ANY AMOUNT), you will get access to the 60-Day Move With Me Challenge Program. This program is delivered online, with an exclusive team portal. It includes guided on-demand video based practices to improve mobility, enhance recovery and how to support regulation of the nervous system through strength-based movement practices.

IN-PERSON COMMUNITY CLASSES
​
Give your self-care a glow up! Through July to September we will be holding community classes with wellness leaders in our community that are accessible for active people of all ages. These classes will focus on fitness, yoga, and wellness, taught by professionals who are passionate about giving back to their community and offering their community an opportunity to move, sweat and raise much needed support for survivors of gender based violence and funds for BWSS's essential services.

The Daily Durability Collection: Start your day with
15-minutes of mobility based movement. Each day is different, and includes mobility, stability and tissue care, with easy to follow along, guided videos.

The Restore Collection: Slow down and unwind. End your day with restorative based slow flows, all under 30-minutes. Each video combines Somatics, self-myofascial release, Yoga and breath-work to release tissues and regulate the nervous system.

The BREATHE Collection: These Breathe Better featured tutorials and exercises can be sprinkled into your daily workouts or can be used as a breathe snack when you need a break. Choose an exercise, breathe deep.

Sensory strength is corrective-based movement designed to enhance your body's natural ability to recover while focusing on refining your quality movement, cleaning up movement limitations developed over time and regulating your nervous system through a sound science-based, but playful approach. When you donate and sign up, you also get my signature "Tending to the nervous system" webinar.
A 2-hour exploration into the science and energetics of Somatics through a trauma-sensitive movement lens. This webinar is informed by the works of Stephen Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, Peter A. Levine, PhD and Gabor Mate, MD. This webinar aims to simplify pain and trauma-informed education and is a deep dive into understanding the role of our nervous system in cultivating safety and self-regulation through the lens of movement and Somatics.

Every Sunday, you have the opportunity to move with one of our trauma-informed movement professionals. These are teachers and knowledge workers who are doing great work in our community.
All videos are pre-recorded and on-demand so that you can move when it's convenient for you. A new video is uploaded every Sunday.
